Welcome to my first blog!
Because I'm on the road so much, it's nice to be home for a while. Things are however heating up in typical Texas fashion. I'm in semi-hibernation - regrouping from many intense spring-time musical activities (touring, conferences, festivals...), writing a lot, and preparing for my upcoming Cd project which will be produced by John Jennings - a musical super-star, and all around awesome dude. The album will be recorded at Johns studio in Charlottesville, Virginia, home to a great many pickers and players. John has produced records for Mary Chapin Carpenter, John Gorka, Catie Curtis, John McCutcheon, and many more. I'm honored to get to be the latest addition to his discography.
I would love to hear from folks who dig 'folk type' music (what does that mean these days, anyway?). Can't wait to spread some more love in the form of MUSIC!
